The Syria president Bashar Assad has introduced an initiative for a political solution of the Syrian crisis in his speech to the nation yesterday. He started his speech describing the current crisis , its origin and its relation with the imperial interests in the region. A background of photos of Syrian martyrs was behind him telling that Syria will not forget.
He stressed on the political solution side by side with the fighting of terrorism in Syria.
The yesterday's' speech outlines the political steps which will lead to an end for the crisis.
President Assad was surrounded by his supporters, government and some Parliament members.
During his speech , he was calm and smiley. He addressed the nation from the opera house of Damascus located in the Omayyad square at the heart of Damascus.
